Graphitek digitally prints perforated window film (PWF) from 3M, ClearFocus and others.
Digitally printed perforated window film is used for:
We strongly recommend that all printed PWF be laminated with an optically clear overlaminate. The overlaminate prevents the buildup of dust, dirt and grime within each
tiny perforation of the film. The overlaminate also helps shed rainwater so that vehicle operators retain better visibility.
Perforated window film has an interesting privacy feature. While it allows for light transmission and visibility through the perforations, it gives privacy to
whomever is on the darker side of the window. For example: When sitting in a city bus during the day, people
inside the bus’ darker interior can see out, but those on the outside see only the
outside surface, which is usually a digitally printed graphic. They cannot see inside the bus, so the bus passengers have the privacy.
At night, however, the situation is reversed. It’s dark outside and the inside of the bus is brightly lit.
Now those on the sidewalk can see the passengers inside the bus but the passengers cannot see outside through the PWF.
The people on the darker side of the film always have the privacy.
This unique feature makes PWF ideal for applications where you wish to provide
privacy for individuals behind large plates of glass, or where you are looking
for the "one-way" effect without the use of one-way mirrors.
