We maintain an ftp server at ftp.graphitek.com
to which you can easily upload files. Our ftp server is not anonymous; you will need a user name and password to log in. Please call a
Customer Service rep at Graphitek for a user name and password.
In an effort to make your file uploads as easy as possible we have created a
web-based interface that will upload your files to our ftp server. It's as
easy as filling out a form! Try it out here at http://www.graphitek.com/uploads/
If you have files larger than 2 GB or just want to use FTP for a higher transfer
rate than you can use the traditional FTP instructions (see below).
General FTP Information:
If you upload files to our ftp server BE SURE to email or call us to let us
know that files have been uploaded. We won't know that your files are
there unless you tell us!
There are different methods to login to an FTP site. You can use a browser
(which can often be difficult and sometimes restricted depending on the browser)
or you can use a program called an FTP Client. There are several companies
that make excellent FTP Client Software such as CUTE FTP &
BulletProof FTP
for PC users, and FETCH for Mac users. Most companies offer a 30 day free trial.
We recommend Mozilla's new browser FireFox which not only provides protection
against Pop-ups and SpyWare, but has an FTP Client available FREE OF CHARGE!
Once you have downloaded and installed Firefox, you can then
install FireFTP, an extension to the
Firefox browser. More info can be found here.
